COMMUNITY

Cannabliss opened its doors in August 2019. We are the first dispensary in Washington DC solely owned by a black man.

We've hosted community-focused block parties that infused music, art, fashion, and food into the festivities. These events have highlighted all the positive aspects of our core identity:

Community  |  Culture  |  Cannabis

CULTURE

Our dispensary currently provides patient care and jobs for the Community. As a patient first, Norbert believes in the healing power of cannabis.

We feel medical cannabis should be accessible to people as an alternative to pharmaceuticals.

Cannabis provides healing and restorative properties for a wide range of ailments, and illnesses, giving patients and consumers a natural alternative for achieving all around wellness.

Cannabliss offers premium holistic products for patients living in the District of Columbia and offers reciprocity for all states that have a medical cannabis program.

In addition to community and cannabis, Cannabliss also champions cultural development through art, music and entertainment helping to promote talent in all its dynamic forms.

CANNABIS

Cannabliss focuses on all facets of a person:

Physically, psychologically, socially, mentally and spiritually in the management and prevention of chronic pain.

It is underpinned by the concept that there is a link between our physical health and our more general 'well-being’.

Our goal is to help people heal from trauma in a holistic environment. Sharing positive energy while aiming for a pain free life is our mission.

Patient access to the best quality cannabis with the best customer service and the lowest prices is our goal.

VISION

Neighborhood landmark, the former Dave Brown Liquor store, is now a space where people can safely access legal, tested cannabis to experience a full spectrum of health and wellness benefits.

Cannabliss is a tourist destination amidst Washington DC’s rich culture, offering premium products, merchandise, and educational information, while providing accessible and safe cannabis care.

Winning the coveted license to own a dispensary in Ward 7 was not an easy task. We continue to work tirelessly within the guidelines of the law to ensure that Cannabliss reigns as the premier black-owned cannabis brand and dispensary, passing all necessary regulations and checks.

“As black people, the cannabis industry is an industry that we’ve been notoriously left out of, where this is an opportunity for us to build a special expertise.”
